Shirland Miners Welfare

Established in 1924 as a hub for the local miners and their families the Shirland Miners Welfare has been a cornerstone of the Shirland community in Derbyshire for over 100 years.

Shirland Miners Welfare Band is a successful and vibrant brass band based at the Shirland Welfare.
